# How do I edit user data in the database?

Learn how to modify the information of external users (like suppliers or clients) registered in a user-type database, to keep their data up to date and ensure smooth communication from the platform.

### 🪜 Edit user data from the database

1.  Access Databases dynamic options
    
    1.  From general settings

    2.  Or from the dropdown in the main view

2.  Open the dynamic options database module, the user type

3.  Expand the database you want to edit

4.  Find the option and click it

5.  Edit the fields that need it

6.  Save the changes
    

💡 _This will update the data for all incidents where that user is used, making sure your data is consistent across the whole platform._

**You can add new users to the same database without uploading another Excel file**
